We explore the devastation of these losses, but also their transformative power, as Jess harnessed the deep strength recovery required, and then continued to use that strength to change her life.

Today on the premiere episode of Badass, Marabai welcomes Jeremy Goodrich, who shares with us a story of surviving the unthinkable. Over a six year period of time Jeremy lost both his son Noah, and his daughter Stella to a rare genetic condition. We will explore the experience of profound loss, and the ways in which we harness our intuitive wisdom to survive such a loss.
Later, Marabai introduces herself and talks about some of the kinds of stories of trauma and healing you'll hear on Badass this season, and a bit about her own personal struggle with Lyme disease.

Badass: Tales of Resilience
Badass is the brain child of Marabai Rose, a licensed clinical social worker, and therapist. Marabai realized just how reassuring it was to see that her trauma clients, who had survived awful things, had an incredible capacity for healing. Marabai wanted to share with the world how difficult experiences transform us, and the strength we discover when we are forced to endure them. Marabai could never have pulled this off with out the audio engineering skills of Kevin Evans. In Spring of 2022 these two became team Badass. We hope you like the first season.
